Project: Design book cover for vook about the changes in women’s traditional dress in the United Arab Emirates during the reign of H.H. the late Sh. Zayid bin Sultan Al Nahyan  1960’s - Millennium

Dr Reem wanted a design that incorporated the illustration and a feeling of mixed media hence the torn paper and screened back arabic in the background.

Project: Redesign book cover. Ike had hired someone to design this cover and was not happy with the results.

We created a cover that has a little more shelf impact, done by enhancing the typography with color and size, using  different photography and giving the cover more of a corporate look . The new image shows a business suit which is more appropriate to the demographic of possible reader.

PROJECT: Design an ad for the subsidiary brand Shinwa. The product a Japanese green tea that is sold retail in spas and wholesale to the spa owners to give to their clients to enhance their spa exerience.

The project entailed designing an ad incorporating the new logo and geisha photo they had already been using in existing materials.

A postcard was also designed as a handout for tradeshows.

This client was ready to expand his identity and promote his ongoing series of workshops to the south florida community. The image identity was to create a dramatic effect and contrast designed to evoke emotional awareness on subtle levels to that market. The ladder image was employed to demonstrate the conscious evolution of the human spirit from darkness into the light while at the same time using the red contrast as the symbol of the lower chakra’s  (lower self) color. The poster’s text color was chosen for its warm environmental contrast,visibility and its internal fire essence . The colors were also selected to maintain visual continuity with the previously designed logo and company’s image.
